IAQ—01/About
We have no vested interest in the result
Healthy Homes IAQ™ is a full-service Environmental Building Inspection (IEQ) and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) investigation, testing and reporting firm.
As an independent third-party Indoor Environmental Quality (IAQ/IEQ) assessment testing and reporting consultancy run by a PhD-level expert, we provide unbiased, thorough evaluations of real-time indoor environmental quality hazard conditions.
Unlike contractors or suppliers, we have no vested interest — our analysis presents clear facts, whether a building is defect-free or poses challenges. That independence is the whole value of the service: a remediation contractor who finds mould also sells the fix, and a supplier who tests the air also sells the filter.
Our expert background enables a full-spectrum building and IAQ inspection, assessment and testing without the hassle of assembling multiple consultants. Understanding personal health alongside building issues is a challenge which is not only time sensitive, but client sensitive.
Healthy Homes IAQ™ is a wholly owned subsidiary of R340 Enterprises Ltd., and operates from Kelowna, BC, serving residential and commercial clients across the Okanagan.
IAQ—02/Expertise
What our team actually knows
01
Building science and envelope design
Envelope defects, air barriers, thermal performance and water management reviewed as one system rather than as separate trades.
02
Structural design elements
Structural elements considered alongside the moisture and ventilation conditions that so often cause them to fail.
03
Energy code to Step Code 5
Building energy code design to Step Code 5 — because a tighter building changes what the ventilation has to do.
04
Environmental project management
Coordination of environmental project issues, so findings turn into sequenced work rather than a report nobody acts on.

IAQ—03 / Next step
Bring us a building that does not feel right.
The earlier the inspection happens, the more often the finding is economical rather than expensive.
